Migralex, Inc. was founded by Dr. Alexander Mauskop specifically to market headache therapies he developed and found effective in treating his patients at the New York Headache Center. The products created and marketed by Migralex, Inc. are backed by scientific research and clinical experience and have been proven to be both safe and effective for the treatment and prevention of headaches. The first over-the-counter therapy to be introduced to the general public is Dr. Mauskop’s Migralex™.

Dr. Mauskop is a board certified neurologist and one of the first headache specialists in the country to become board certified in Headache Medicine. Dr. Mauskop is also an Associate Professor of Clinical Neurology at the State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center.

For more than twenty years, Dr. Mauskop has conducted and published original research in the field of headaches. He has also authored three books and numerous articles in scientific journals, and serves as a reviewer for many medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, Headache and Cephalalgia.

Dr. Mauskop is founder and director of the New York Headache Center and has welcomed over 200 doctors from all over the world to the Center for advanced training. He also established the New York Headache Foundation and for the past 20 years has led an Annual Educational Symposium on Headaches. He has given hundreds of presentations, including grand rounds and lectures at Cornell, Harvard, Columbia, NYU and Dartmouth Medical Schools, as well as the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic. He has also spoken at meetings of the American Academy of Neurology, American Headache Society and International Headache Society.

Dr. Mauskop has appeared on local and national television and radio programs, including “Tom Brokaw’s News Hour,” “ABC Evening News,” “Extra,” “Fox News,” and a PBS special. A feature article on his work appeared in Vogue magazine. In addition, Dr. Mauskop has frequently been honored as a “Best Doctor” in New York Magazine and in 2008 was voted a “Super Doctor” in New York Times Magazine.
